Rob Cords joins ATS as its CEO in 2023 with more than 20 years of experience in aviation. Most recently, Rob served as Executive Vice President of Fleet Operations and Infrastructure at Wheels Up, overseeing maintenance programs related to its Part 135 charter operations and Part 145 repair station. Earlier, Rob was President of MRO Holdings, a leading global provider of airframe maintenance and modification solutions. While at MRO Holdings, he led the integration of multiple maintenance facilities, centralizing core maintenance support functions and bringing focus to operational excellence and increased service levels. Prior experience also includes President of Airlines and Fleets at StandardAero, overseeing its largest aircraft engine maintenance division.
Rob has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Rob brings a strategic, data-driven approach to his leadership style, one focused on problem solving and execution accountability.
Rob resides in the greater Dallas, TX area with his wife, two children, and a Labradoodle. He spends his free time enjoying his nearby rural property, playing golf, and watching his daughter play soccer and son run cross country.
