ATS to offer enhanced opportunities for employees and customers through transformation of Dallas area footprint
Everett, Washington – ATS (Aviation Technical Services) today announced that its Component Repair subsidiary businesses in Texas of Aviation Industry Repair (AIR), American Cooler Service (ACS), and Texas Pneumatic Systems (TPS) will relocate and join current operations at its Fort Worth, TX location near DFW airport. The DFW location which upgraded its office and break spaces in 2019, will now redesign its shop floor area with customized work cells targeted at streamlining production and improving employee work environments.
This premier facility, referred to as our ATS DFW Center of Excellence, will follow a rolling move-in schedule outlining separate production line moves between August 2021 and February 2022. Once completed, customers will experience a seamless interface across our ATS Component Repair sites in Dallas/Fort Worth and Everett, quicker response times on quotes and inventory availability, as well as more solution options through our Ranger Air component sales team.
“It feels good to be able to share some encouraging news with our employees and customers during these difficult COVID-19 times,” said Brian Olsen, President of Component and Engineering Solutions at ATS. “To be able to provide our Dallas area employees with a modern facility, updated electronic tools, and point-of-use tooling while at the same increasing the value we bring to customers is a win-win.”
