Aviation Technical Services Completes Installation of First 767 300ER Winglet Shipset for Hawaiian Airlines

Everett, WA, November 6, 2009 – On October 16, 2009, Aviation Technical Services, Inc (ATS) successfully completed installation of the first shipset of winglets on Hawaiian Airlines 767-300ER aircraft and is due to deliver the second installed set in mid November. Per contract executed in September 2009, ATS is to install eight shipsets of Aviation Partner Boeing winglets on Hawaiian Airlines 767-300ER aircraft over the next several months in it’s facility in Everett, WA.

Having installed some of the first APB prototype winglets on 737 aircraft, ATS has been installing APB winglets on Boeing aircraft longer than most companies in the world. In addition to the Hawaiian Airlines 767-300ER program, ATS has installed some 130 shipsets of winglets on 737, 757 and C-32 aircraft for companies such as Alaska Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Continental Airlines, COPA Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airlines, Virgin Express (now Brussels Airlines), and the U.S. Air Force.
